Anthony Mackie, who plays The Falcon in the Marvel movies, was just depicted in a special Comic Con video carrying donuts into the writers’ room of “Agents of SHIELD.”
Make of that what you will.
If The Falcon does appear in the third season of “SHIELD,” he’ll be the first bona fide member of Joss Whedon’s cinematic Avengers to appear on Whedon’s TV show. (Unless you count Nick Fury, Phil Coulson and/or Maria Hill. Which I guess I do not.)

* They’re now calling Daisy “Skye” Johnson by the name “Quake.”
* They’re now calling the show’s new plane “Zephyr One.”
* Coulson is making good on his promise to start assembling superpowered secret warriors.
