Andy Garcia, Michael K. Williams and Matt Walsh Join the Cast of GHOSTBUSTERS!

Hey guys! Horrorella here...

Paul Feig's new GHOSTBUSTERS film continues to take shape. The Wrap is reporting a new list of names who will be joining the cast. We already knew that Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon would be pulling on the proton packs and squaring off agains anything and everything supernatural that would dare threaten New York City, and that Chris Hemsworth had been cast (in what I hope will be a stroke of brilliance) as the receptionist of the Ghostbusters office after they open for business.

Today, The Wrap reports that Michael K. Williams (THE WIRE, BOARDWALK EMPIRE), Matt Walsh (VEEP) and Andy Garcia (OCEAN'S ELEVEN) will be joining the cast as well.

Garcia will be playing the mayor of New York. The role of the mayor was a vital one in the Reitman films (played to perfection there by David Margulies), as it is virtually impossible to bust too many ghosts without securing the permission of the mayor's office. He is also the guy who can get assholes from the EPA off your back.

We don't have many details about the other characters, aside from their names - Williams will be playing a guy named Hawkins and Walsh will be playing a guy named Rourke. Hopefully, both characters will be given some great comedic dialogue for both actors to explore.

The film is in production now, so we'll be hearing more casting and plot details in the coming weeks. For now, what do you guys think of the new additions?
