This promo gives us our first glimpse of a lot of new characters from “Heroes Reborn,” the miniseries sequel to NBC’s “Heroes.”
It appears that The Cheerleader and all the many Petrellis have been scraped away.
Sendhil Ramamurthy, Greg Grunberg, Masi Oka, Jimmy Jean-Louis and Jack Coleman reprise the roles of Mohinder Suresh, Matt Parkman, Hiro Nakamura, "The Haitian" and Noah Bennet respectively.
All five returning actors appeared in all four seasons of the 2006-2010 series.
Dylan Bruce (“Orphan Black”), Gatlin Green (“Liv and Maddie”) and Ryan Guzman (“Pretty Little Liars”) have all joined Zachary Levi (“Chuck”) as “Heroes Reborn” players who weren’t in “Heroes.”
Tim Kring (“Crossing Jordan,” “Touch”), who created the original “Heroes,” will be back as showrunner for NBC’s miniseries “Heroes Reborn,” which will begin going up against NFL football, “Grey’s Anatomy” and “The Big Bang Theory” on Thursdays starting Sept. 24.
