After four years on “America’s Got Talent,” the shock jock noted he had received a new TV offer Stern described as a “great opportunity,” and suggested his AGT boss, former “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell, take over Stern’s chair at the judging table.
Stern has threatened to quit AGT in the past, so it’s easy to speculate that his comments may merely be a negotiating tactic.
He’s said to be receiving $15 million per AGT season.
I regard Stern as the best interviewer on the planet, so hopefully (if he’s not lying about the “opportunity”) he’s getting a talk show and not a revival of “Deal or No Deal” (which he's described as his dream job).
