Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I'm in the Gone Girl Was Awesome camp, so if you're telling me that Charlize Theron is starring in another dark, messed up Gillian Flynn adaptation I'm totally there.
The movie is called Dark Places and has an incredible cast around Theron, which includes her Fury Road co-star Nicholas Hoult, Corey Stoll, Tye Sheridan, Christina Hendricks and Chloe Grace Moretz.
The first trailer for the film just hit and you can catch it below:
Looks pretty good to me, but I'm a sucker for these dark crime thrillers. However, I will say that the title will always make me flash on this first:
If you've never seen Garth Marenghi's Darkplace then you owe it to yourself to watch the full run, which is thankfully streaming on Hulu.
The probably not-very-funny Charlize Theron Dark Places hits theaters this August. Here's the new poster to boot!
