Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. If it wasn't interesting enough that Gore Verbinski is returning to the supernatural horror subgenre now he's gone and nabbed a great bad guy character actor to lead it.
The film is called A Cure for Wellness and takes place in a European wellness spa that turns out to not be catering to the wellness of its clients so much. Dane DeHaan will play the lead and the newly cast big baddie is the guy who runs the facility. Jason Isaacs was just cast in the role.
Yep, you know that dude! Lucius Malfoy, evil British guy in The Patriot, Hook in the live action Peter Pan and so much more. The dude's prolific and, from what I understand, an A+ personality to boot.
Just look at him! If he was running a creepy "health spa" you'd know something was wrong. I can already picture the movie in my mind!
I'm just stoked to see Verbinski back behind the camera, doing something original. That dude's one of my favorite working shooters and I mourn a little every day for his Bioshock movie that never was.
