Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. James Gunn's been slowly sending out casting announcements for a thriller he wrote and is producing called THE BELKO EXPERIMENT. So far the cast announced includes Michael Rooker, Tony Goldwyn, John C. McGinley, Melonie Diaz, Owain Yeoman, John Gallagher, Jr and Adria Arjona. Wolf Creek's Greg McLean is directing.
Two new names are joining this big ol' cast. The first is Sean Gunn (James' brother who seems to be a bit of a lucky rabbit's foot for him since he's appeared in damn near everything James has had his fingers in) who will be playing a stoner cafeteria worker named Marty Espenscheid.
The second is comedian Steve Agee, who is probably best known for playing Brian Posehn's boyfriend in The Sarah Silverman Program. In Belko he will be Sean Gunn's character's best friend, Chet Valincourt.
I might also add that Steve is a damn good Destiny player. He's saved my ass on the Vault of Glass more than once.
All I know about the plot is that a big corporation starts going nuts and all the employees start killing each other. With that cast and that premise this can't be anything less than a total blast, right?
