In less than 10 hours “Supergirl” pilot, which doesn’t hit CBS until November, was downloaded from torrent sites some 192,000 times.
Variety reports piracy-tracking firm Excipio has not detected any evident watermarks, leading to speculation that CBS or production company Warner Bros. may be behind the upload, which occurred shortly before 3 a.m. Friday ET.
Unlike the four new episodes of “Game of Thrones” that leaked earlier this year, the 1080p HD online version appears not to be derived from a press screener. I’ve received thousands of press screeners in my years as a TV critic, but I’ve never once received one in 1080p.

Action-adventure drama based on the DC Comics character Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist), Superman’s (Kal-El) cousin who, after 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth, decides to finally embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.
