I’ve gone on record as quite enjoying 2013’s NOW YOU SEE ME, the labyrinthine thriller fusing what we perceive as 'magic' with caper/heist shenanigans.
I'm rather curious to see what The Powers That Be have in storte for its sequel (releasing June 2016), although I'm not entirely convinced helmer Jon M. Chu is the right person for that Job.
Clearly he must be doing something right, however, as Lionsgate has already begun to poke at a third installment in the franchise.
CEO Jon Feltheimer made the disclosure Friday during the company’s conference call with analysts to discuss quarterly earnings. “We’ve already begun early planning for ‘Now You See Me 3,'” he said.

No word yet on who in the series' impressive and extensive cast (which currently includes Mark Ruffalo, Daniel Radcliffe, Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Lizzy Caplan, and Michael Caine) will return for the third go-round.
