If somebody wants Chris Pratt take over the role of Indiana Jones, nobody’s told Pratt.
From GQ’s new profile of the “Jurassic World” star:
… as it happens, [Pratt’s] also been around Steven Spielberg a fair bit recently (Spielberg produced Jurassic World), both before and after this rumor [of Pratt playing Indiana Jones] broke. "I just didn't bring it up and he didn't bring it up," [Pratt] says, "so I don't know."
Of course Spielberg probably hasn't himself committed to a Younger Indiana Jones movie yet. He may not have seen even a script for such a project.
In the same profile, Pratt shoots down the rumor that he may appear in a Channing Tatum-produced “Ghostbusters”:
"No one has ever even spoken to me about that," he says. "Never. I've even seen Channing a couple times. As far as I know, that's complete bullshit."
What Pratt will be doing is playing Peter “Star Lord” Quill in a lot more Marvel movies. I’m guessing from this comment he’s contracted to turn up in the next couple of “Avengers” movies (which will deal with the Infinity War) as well as his “Guardians of the Galaxy” sequels.
"...I'm tied to doing three more, or five more, Guardians of the Galaxy or whatever it is, you know, two more Guardians plus another couple..."
