Here’s a new look at PIXELS, the July 24 release from director Chris Columbus (ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING, the first two HARRY POTTER movies, the RENT film).
I’ve heard varying feedback regarding the quality of this film’s script - so I can’t help but be a tad skeptical here. At the end of the day, though, I can tell this thing is very much going to appeal to my inner, ultra-doof teenager…in addition to my strangely retro-obsessed 8 year old son being batty for its trailers. Both of which make me smile, even if just a little. We’ll see how all this shakes out soon enough…
