Fox has released a new teaser for HITMAN: AGENT 47 and it’s very clearly trying to capitalize on the attention MAD MEN is getting with its series finale airing on Sunday night:
So no footage from the film but Fox is trying to capitalize on a little bit of the buzz surrounding the MAD MEN finale airing Sunday night. If you missed the trailer with footage from the film, go here.
The first time Fox tried to adapt the HITMAN video games had disastrous results in 2007 with Timothy Olyphant in the lead role so I don’t have a lot of interest in this new one. Nothing that I have seen so far from the film looks like it is bringing anything new to the table. Plus, I just saw FURY ROAD which makes even really good action movies look small in comparison.
(This film was originally going to star Paul Walker in the title role before his tragic death and that would have been a little interesting to see.)
