Bill Murray, who appeared on the first and last episodes of NBC’s “Late Night With David Letterman” and the first episode of CBS’ “The Late Show With David Letterman,” will not appear on the last episode of CBS’ “The Late Show With David Letterman.”
Murray will appear instead on Tuesday’s next-to-last “Letterman.”
Letterman’s final, Wednesday, show “will be an hour filled with surprises,” according to Thursday’s CBS press release.
The final Friday “Letterman” airing May 15 will feature the returns of Norm Macdonald and Oprah Winfrey.
Monday’s show will feature guests Tom Hanks, making his 60th appearance with Dave, and Eddie Vedder.
Tuesday’s show will mark Murray’s 44th and final appearance with Dave.
No word on Jay Leno appearing on any of these four final shows.
