Nicolas Winding Refn is wrapping up filming on his latest feature, set to be a horror story told as only Nicolas Winding Refn can tell it - with exquisite beauty.
The first images from NEON DEMON have been released (via Twitch), and they are (as expected) spectacularly gorgeous. And unsettling - there is something very wrong and also very right with the image of a pale, blood-spattered Elle Fanning laying on the couch next to a calm, staring Refn.
When aspiring model Jesse (Elle Fanning) moves to Los Angeles, her youth and vitality are devoured by a group of beauty-obsessed women who will take any means necessary to get what she has.
The film co-stars Keanu Reeves, Jena Malone, Christina Hendricks, Karl Glusman, Bella Heathcote, Abbey Lee and Desmond Harrington.
NEON DEMON is still waiting for U.S. distribution, but hopefully someone will pick it up before too long.
