Here’s a new trailer for MR. HOLMES, starring Ian McKellen and helmed by Bill Condon (DREAMGIRLS, GODS AND MONSTERS). The picture opens June 19 in the UK, and July 17 here in the US. Really looking forward to this one.
By the way, unless I miss my guess, the “Holmes” McKellen is watching on the movie screen here? That’s Nicholas Rowe (you played the title character in 1985’s YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES). We’d previously learned that Rowe was to appear in this film playing an actor playing Holmes (who exists as a cultural icon in this film’s universe).
