Vanity Fair has a sweet Star Wars: The Force Awakens cover with more Han Solo and Chewbacca!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Look at that picture! It feels like Star Wars, which is awesome, but even more awesome is that Han Solo is in that shot. Not Harrison Ford, the actor. It's Han Solo, the character. The glint in the eye is there, the Han Solo smirk is there and even his weird new leather jacket feels rogue-ish in all the right ways.

The new kids looks great, too, but my eye keeps going back to Han and Chewie and feeling that warm embrace of nostalgia. I have the opposite of a bad feeling about this, which could be setting me up for disappointment, but what can I say? I'm an optimistic fella and everything I've seen of the new Star Wars fills me with happy joy-joy feelings.

Anyway, Annie Leibovitz has been taking great behind the scenes pictures for decades (she's done real photojournalism, too, but being a movie nerd I always go right to her film stuff) and I can't wait to see the rest of the pics she took of The Force Awakens that'll be in that issue of Vanity Fair.

Expect some more Episode 7 goodies before Star Wars weekend calls it quits. May the Fourth be with you.
