Last week. On “Mad Men.”
* Lou Avery quit to work for the creators of “Mach GoGoGo.”
* Diana the waitress left a message for Don, but proved unfindable.
* Pete couldn’t get his daughter into daycare because her ancestor murdered the ancestors of a Greenwich Country Day administrator.
* An auditioning child actor stapled her thumb.
* Peggy’s headhunter forewent a commission to recommend McCann Erickson.
* Cosgrove said no.
* Family man Ted revealed he was boning an old college chum.
* Roger revealed he was still boning Megan Draper’s mom.
* We learned Trudy Campbell’s daughter drew a man with a neckie and a mustache.
* Sterling Cooper’s secretaries demonstrated little enthusiasm for Don’s announcement that “This is the beginning of something. Not the end.”
I keep waiting for the series to make a big leap forward in time, but Roger's facial hair in the promo says that's not happening tonight.
AMC says of tonight’s “Lost Horizon”:
Don is rewarded for his work; Joan butts heads with a co-worker over an account; Roger avoids making a big decision.
