Here’s a new promo for CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS III.
I’m not the world’s biggest fan of the BLACK OPS subset of the CoD franchise, and was more than a tad disappointed to learn that this go-around didn’t return the series to its World War II roots as had been rumored. I think there’s tremendous potential for a WWII centric game on the newest generation of consoles. Sadly, they didn’t take that road - but maybe someday?
However, now that I’ve seen this spot for BLACK OPS III, I kinda dig where they seem to be going. A little bit of ROBOCOP. A little BLADE RUNNER. Some touches of Blomkamp. And, of course, the requisite onslaught of CoD carnage, spectacle, and madness. This could come together very nicely.
The end of this reel promises a 'world reveal' of the game this Sunday - so stay tuned...
