The lovely Olivia Cooke - so beautiful, heartfelt, and effective as the breathing-challenged ‘Emma’ on A&E’s BATES MOTEL - is joining the cast of THE LIMEHOUSE GOLEM. She’ll star alongside Alan Rickman and Douglas Booth, an a cinematic adaption of Peter Ackroyd’s novel DAN LENO AND THE LIMEHOUSE GOLEM.
Set in 1880 London, it’s a gothic murder mystery described as being in the style of David Fincher’s Seven and James Watkins’ The Woman In Black. A series of murders has shaken the community to the point where people believe that only a legendary creature from dark times — the mythical so-called Golem — must be responsible.

I hope Cooke, who also appeared recently in OUIJA and THE SIGNAL, continues to get projects like LIMEHOUSE. She’s very good, and deserves to be working her way up to the big leagues.
