Stop your speculating, it'll be Peter Parker as the spectacular SPIDER-MAN in the MCU!

Hey folks, Harry here...  The AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON junket is underway today and we've all been listening for something significant to drop - and of everything, Feige's news dump regarding the Marvel Cinematic Universe's use of SPIDER-MAN, that's blowing all our skirts up or Kilts up.   First off, they'll be seeking an actor around the age of 15-16 years of age.  So obviously, they need to meet my nephew.   Giggle.

The big news is that they will be going with Peter Parker and that they want to fully explore Peter Parker, High School Student & Crime Fighter.   I absolutely agree.   Personally, SPIDER-MAN should be handled like HARRY POTTER - and there should be a film a year or more.   He wants that AGE to be a defining characteristic for SPIDER-MAN, making him instantly in Awe of the established MCU Heroes.  I mean, SPIDER-MAN 1, he was trying to make it the FANTASTIC FIVE.   The kid had crazy ambition,  but part of the joy of SPIDER-MAN is that nobody really wants him.   Rejection is what makes Parker so adorable.   He still keeps helping a world that doesn't like him, where the only real love he feels is from Aunt May, but he's eaten up by the guilt of taking the one she loved away.   There's powerful truths in them early years of young Peter Parker.

Seeing that get explored would be a joy.

So - how do you feel about this?   What Peter Parker High School tales do you most want to see on the big screen?   Will Puny Parker invent the web-shooters from scratch this time?   And... can we all agree we don't give a shit about the Parker parents?

Hmmm?

Keep it cool,

Harry
