Roland Emmerich has Tweeted two additional cast members to the INDEPENDENCE DAY sequel which’ll arrive next Summer.

The pair will join the already announced Jeff Goldblum, Jessie Usher, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Liam Hemsworth, Vivica A. Fox, and Travis Tope. It’s assumed Bill Pullman will return in some capacity as well, although we’ve yet to hear anything definitive.
Emmerich’s capacity for visualizing massive scale destruction on the big screen hasn’t waned a single bit over the years - if anything, technological advancements have better shaped his particular brand of madness. It should be very interesting to see what kind of spectacle he brings forth on this picture next year.
