The latest toy from your unhappy, loveless childhood to get the big-screen treatment is none other than Play-Doh. Yes, the modeling compound comprised of flour, water, salt, boric acid and mineral water that could only come from Cincinnati, Ohio! You've always wanted to see a Play-Doh movie right? Well, Alistair, you're getting one from 20th Century Fox and, most likely, Paul Feig, who's currently in talks to direct.
Of course, we all rolled our eyes when THE LEGO MOVIE was announced, and that turned out pretty damn great. Can Feig and screenwriter Jason A. Micallef pull off a Lord-Miller miracle with this shit you used to eat on a dare? Perhaps! I love Feig, and wish him nothing but the best. Here's hoping he goes all Agatha Christie with MURDER AT THE MOP-TOP HAIR SHOP.
