After Fox cancelled the Stiller show in 1993, the pair headlined their own sketch show, “Mr. Show with Bob and David,” which ran on HBO from 1995 to 1998. It’s been two decades!
Former Ain’t It Cool movie critic Drew McWeeny and I can be glimpsed as members of Scott Thompson’s gay posse in Cross & Odenkirk’s 2002 movie “Run Ronnie Run,” based on a series of “Mr. Show” sketches.
Recurring players on “Mr. Show” included Patton Oswalt, Laura Kightlinger, Doug Benson, Jack Black, Shannyn Sossamon, Scott Adsit, Jerry Minor, Brian Posehn, Mary Lynn Rajskub and Sarah Silverman.

Cross starred in Netflix’s recent “Arrested Development” revival while the first season of Odenkirk’s AMC hit “Better Call Saul” will begin streaming on Netflix next year.
