We’d long assumed DEADPOOL would be the hard-R flick we were promised since it first went into development. Well, a video has surfaced of Ryan Reynolds talking about the film to EXTRA’s Mario Lopez that seems to intimate otherwise.
Reynolds insists that the tone of the comic and the original character will be preserved, even though the studio seems dead set on nabbing a PG-13 rating. After Fox’s pitch-perfect, no-holds-barred adaptations of DAREDEVIL, FANTASTIC FOUR, THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN, and the Dark Phoenix saga, who can doubt their decision?
DEADPOOL will crack wise and chop heads, but in a family friendly way, on February 12th, 2016.
