Comedy Central has posted the trailer for MASTERMINDS, from director Jared Hess (NAPOLEON DYNAMITE, NACHO LIBRE).
The August 7 release required 5 writers to forge
(including from EASTBOUND & DOWN, YOUR HIGHNESS, and SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE) - and I don’t think I ever smiled once at this teaser spot.
I am, however, wishing them the best of luck with this one. There’s some strong talent involved, but as we’ve seen time and time again, an assemblage of 'strong talent' does not necessarily a good thing make.
