The first trailer has been released for SLOW WEST, the feature debut of witer/director John Maclean. The film stars Kodi Smit-McPhee as a young man who travels from Scotland to America, following and searching for the woman he loves. Given the harsh climate of the Wild West, it's not terribly surprising that he finds himself in way over his head. He teams up with a lone gunman played by Michael Fassbender, and the two soon go on the run, pursued by a gang of outlaws.
The trailer is intriguing, carring a darkly comedic tone, and showcasing some great moments of badassery. This could be a fun one to watch for.
