“Girls” has had a really good season, with Gillian Jacobs and Zach Quinto getting mixed into Jessa and Adam’s lives. My favorite character, though, is Shosh’s ex, coffee-shop owner Ray Ploshansky, played by the immensely likeable Alex Karpovsky (“Inside Llewyn Davis”). He’s too good for Marnie Marie Michaels, but doesn’t yet realize it.
This promo pretty much drains all the suspense out of tonight’s two episodes of “The Last Man on Earth,” which has also drained most of the brains out of Phil Miller since the January Jones character arrived.
