Alex Garland's (SUNSHINE, 28 DAYS LATER) directorial debut, EX MACHINA, blew the doors off SXSW at its U.S. premiere over the weekend, and is one of the most highly-anticipated genre films of the spring.
Domhnall Gleeson (FRANK) plays Caleb, a programmer invited to spend a weekend at the home of the legendary Nethan Bateman, a tech giant and CEO, played by Oscar Isaac (INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS). Nathan enlists Caleb's help in testing a new form of A.I., which quickly breaks any and all assumed rules of emotional intelligence.

Caleb Smith (Domhnall Gleeson), a programmer at an internet-search giant, wins a competition to spend a week at the private mountain estate of the company’s brilliant and reclusive CEO, Nathan Bateman (Oscar Isaac).
