Bill Condon’s live-action BEAUTY AND THE BEAST adaptation is continuing to add to its cast, as THR is reporting that Josh Gad is in final negotiations to play Le Fou, Gaston’s idiot sidekick.
Disney apparently likes working with Gad as he was the voice of Olaf in FROZEN and was apart of Disney's announcement of FROZEN 2 yesterday. He should fit the role pretty well though but it seems like he might be getting typecast into the bumbling idiot role in most of his projects.
Nonetheless, I love the casting so far and am really looking forward to this film.
