EW has released new stills from THE SCORCH TRIALS, the sequel to last year’s MAZE RUNNER film.
This is the second cinematic installment/adaptation of a three book series by author James Dashner (or a four book series if you count its prequel).
The film releases September 18, with Wes Ball - helmer of the first picture - back for another round. T.S. Nowlin, a writer on the first picture and sole scripter of this second chapter, was recently announced to be at work scripting THE DEATH CURE (which would make the third entry in this film series).
What’s he got in his hands in that first picture? It looks like either a detonator, or a PEZ dispenser. With a release date of September 18, we’ll likely be seeing some trailers for this one soonish I should think. Maybe those will answer the question...
