Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Let me tell you a little story. It started a long, long time ago... way back to yesterday morning when a knock at the door awoke me from my slumber. I shuffled to the door to find a mysterious FedEx package containing this:
Viral marketing alert! The LG cell phone within was already activated and contained messages from a mystery person telling me to stay tuned this morning for my ticket to immortality.
It didn't take long to figure out this was for Tarsem Singh's Self/less and sure enough this morning a text came into this shiny Android device pointing me at www.outlive.life, which forwarded to the Selfless Tumbler and the first trailer for the film.
Seems like an overly complicated way to drop a trailer, but thanks for the phone, I guess? Joke's on them... I would have posted this embed whether they went through all that trouble or not.
I dig the feeling of the trailer. Between this and Alex Garland's upcoming Ex Machina it seems like we're getting some decent hard sci-fi this year.
