Danny Strong’s “Empire,” already the top-rated broadcast series on television, cannot stop growing its audience. Last Wednesday brought yet another personal best for the music-biz soap.
And as “Empire” continues to rise, Fox stablemate “American Idol” continues to move in the opposite direction.
The “Survivor” premiere did a lot better than the “Amazing Race” premiere last Wednesday.
MTV’s “Catfish” was last Wednesday’s top cable show.
FX’s “The Americans” hit a new series low last week.
Greg Berlanti’s “Mysteries of Laura” scored a rare victory over Greg Berlanti’s “Arrow.” The two shows have been competing all season for the title of 8 p.m. Wednesday’s lowest-rated national broadcast.
