Remember that nutty POWER/RANGERS short film which hit the Net last week? It was removed by YouTube, restored to YouTube, blasted by Saban, blah blah, blah?
Adi Shankar (Executive Producer of DREDD and THE GREY, a Producer on THE VOICES (in which Ryan Reynolds is surprisingly effective), and Producer of that POWER/RANGERS homage) has now brought on-line a look at how the remarkably well produced piece was realized.
Concurrently, Shankar has posted pre-viz for IN SERVICE OF NOTHING, which approaches James Bond in a manner somewhat similar to Shankar’s P/R undertaking. Will anybody go nuclear about this one? What ultimate impact will such projects have on future well-made, fan-produced enterprises - if any?
