Danny Strong’s “Empire” hit yet another new personal high last week. It did not beat cable’s “The Walking Dead” or SNL’s blockbuster Sunday special, but it beat last Thursday’s new episode of “Big Bang Theory.” Which to my eye makes “Empire” the number-one broadcast series on television.
Greg Berlanti’s “Arrow” on The CW again clobbered Greg Berlanti’s “Mysteries of Laura” on NBC. Word is Berlanti, who wrote the Ryan Reynolds “Green Lantern” movie, plans to introduce Green Lantern into “Arrow.” I know, right?
