Jeremy here...
Michelle Williams is set to have an amazing 2015. Later this year, she'll co-star with Casey Affleck in Kenneth Lonergan's MANCHESTER-BY-THE-SEA (the writer-director's long-awaited follow-up to MARGARET). But before that, she'll reteam with her WENDY AND LUCY and MEEK'S CUTOFF director, Kelly Reichardt, for an untitled drama about which little is known. Here's all I need to know: Reichardt has never made a bad movie, and Williams has been brilliant both times she's worked with the fiercely independent filmmaker.
If you've never seen a Reichardt movie, you should start with OLD JOY and move forward chronologically. She's one of the most distinctive filmmakers working today, and, as I learned a few years ago, a fantastic interview. Climb on the bandwagon, folks; I promise we won't get stuck in the Oregon High Desert!
