The folks over at Beyond the Marquee have posted a fun piece in which BACK TO THE FUTURE writer/producer Bob Gale shares some BTTF-related contents from his ‘personal vault.’
Much of what Gale puts on display is merchandise related. Interestingly, he references the current popularity of BACK TO THE FUTURE being ‘through the roof.’ Which makes me wonder about…and a tad fearful of…how much longer it’ll be before someone moves ahead with expanding or rebooting this franchise.
Whatever the case, here’s Gale showing us some cool BACK TO THE FUTURE merch from back in the day (see what I did there?) Presumably, some of these goodies are expanded upon in the new BACK TO THE FUTURE ALMANAC book. I recently received a review copy of this, by the way, and will be discussing it in detail here on the site shortly.
I didn’t know that Hallmark ornament lit up! Crap! Gonna haveta find me one of those…
