Here’s a new poster for CHILD 44, an upcoming thriller in which a Russian agent (Tom Hardy) dangerously seeks a serial killer in 1950s Russia.
Directed by Daniel Espinosa (SAFE HOUSE - his name was recently evoked as a candidate for the endlessly percolating third STAR TREK movie as well), this picture also stars Gary Oldman, Noomi Rapace (the 2009 version of GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATOO & its sequels, PROMETHEUS), Joel Kinnaman (last year’s ROBOCOP remake, TV’s THE KILLING, Malick’s upcoming KNIGHT OF CUPS), and the mighty Charles Dance (GAME OF THRONES, ALIEN 3).
I love that we’re FINALLY getting movie posters which transcend the cheap, lazily photoshopped rubbish we were getting for a while. Here’s hoping this trend continues…
