Samuel L. Jackson in Talks to Join Tim Burton's MISS PEREGRINE'S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN

Hey guys! Horrorella here...

I never really would have expected to see Samuel L. Jackson board a Tim Burton film, but that seems to be exactly what is happning with the upcoming adaptation of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. As Deadline reports, Jackson is currently in talks for the role of Barron. The character is said to be a major role in the film, though it is unclear at this point if the character is hero or villain.

Jackson would join Eva Green, who has already been cast as the title character, and Asa Butterfield, who leads as a boy who must protect a group of super-powered children from monsters on a deserted island.

The book, written by Ranson Riggs, is being adapted by Jane Goldman (KICK-ASS, KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE). Production is expected to be underway soon, with a targeted release date of March 4, 2016.
