“The Flash” and “Arrow” are two of The CW’s most popular shows, and perhaps the day is coming where the netlet’s entire primetime slate will be consumed by the DC TV universe. At last month's TCA event it was revealed that Greg Berlanti (the longtime "Dawson's Creek" writer-producer behind the Green Lantern movie, CBS's upcoming "Supergirl" series, and "Flash" and "Arrow") was in early talks to bring The Atom to the small screen.
Brandon Routh, who played the title character in the big screen’s “Superman Returns,” plays superscientist Ray Palmer in “Arrow.” In the comics, Palmer is the size-changing superhero The Atom, but we haven’t yet seen The Atom on “Arrow.”
The Feb. 25 episode will change all that. Turns out the TV version will sport a lot less red:
