You might've heard that Disney and Lucasfilm are moving forward with new STAR WARS movies. You might've also heard that George Lucas had zero input into the stories. Well, just in case you think it's impossible that the creator of the most profitable franchise in film history could be bounced from his own universe, here's George tersely informing a Cinemablend interviewer that his ideas were completely discarded by Disney.
That's Elijah Kelley gamely serving as George's STAR WARS buffer. He can be heard in the Lucas-inspired animated flick, STRANGE MAGIC, which opens this Friday, January 23. The trailers aren't encouraging, but it's directed by sound design genius Gary Rydstrom, so I'll give it a shot.
