The Venture Bros. 6.1 FAQ

What’s it called?
“All This And Gargantua-2.”

Who’s responsible?
Juno Lee and series mastermind Jackson Publick direct from a teleplay by Publick & Doc Hammer.

How does it start?
Before a roaring fire, Dr. Henry Killinger briefs a room teeming with scum and villainy.

Do we get a lot of Brock this week?
We do.

Do we get to hear Patrick Warburton’s voice this time?
We hear it a lot!

The big news?
Stephen Colbert reclaims the role of Richard Impossible from Bill Hader. (Colbert has not voiced the role since season two.)

What else is Cartoon Network not telling us?
Dean and Hank almost get crowded out of their own show this week. More in the text invisible. Leaving aside Killinger and Impossible, a partial list of the all-star guest cast includes Sally Impossible, Jonas Venture Sr., Jonas Venture Jr., Phantom Limb, David Bowie, The Monarch, Action Man, Colonel Gentleman, Sgt. Hatred, Hunter Gathers, Dragoon, Dr. Z, The Pirate Captain, Dr. Mrs. The Monarch, Henchman 21, Billy Quizboy, Rose Whalen, Shoreleave, Watch, Ward, The Investors, Red Mantle, Dermott Fictel, Phineas Phage, General Treister, Jefferson Twilight, Dr. Orpheus, The Alchemist, Hector, Swifty and Baron Underbheit.

What’s great?
Killinger’s initial cowardice. The sci-fi “Godfather” homage. Sampson’s hot blonde co-pilot Amber Gold (played by Paget Brewster). All the beautiful spaceships. “Who the hell are these assholes?” So much more.

What’s not so great?
The rest of season six has been promised for this year, but tonight’s episode was promised for last year. I sense a long wait ahead.

How does it end, spoiler boy?
“Not you,” insists Killinger.

11:59 p.m. Monday. Cartoon Network.
