We recently learned that the closing two episodes of GAME OF THRONES’s fourth Season would be converted to IMAX scale and presented on that company’s large-format screens this month. These episodes will also be accompanied by a special preview of the show’s fifth Season.
The whole shebang was pushed back a few days to allow for a larger roll-out - the addition of more screens and whatnot. But it’s still coming - opening January 29 for a one week engagement.
Originally announced to be available a week or so ago, tickets for said screenings are finally going on-sale (they’re already on-line in Austin, for example). You can find a list of participating theaters HERE.
IMAX has also revealed two format-specific posters which’ll be available to moviegoers opening night. This one can be had by attending AMC IMAX screens…
