Quick update for you. After we learned that Edgar Wright had left ANT-MAN, thoughts quickly turned to what his next project would be. The hardest part about a filmmaker leaving a production is the fact that fans (like you and me) now have to wait even longer for the next project from that beloved filmmaker.
We learned over the summer that Wright would be working on a film called BABY DRIVER. It's a project he has mentioned at several different points over the years, but we had no idea what the plot would consist of, or just who or what a baby driver was.
Wait no longer.
Plot follows a talented, young getaway driver who relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. But after being coerced into working for a crime boss, he must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom.
And according to Variety, THE FAULT IN OUR STARS actor Ansel Elgort is in early talks to star in the film, which is being dubbed a "rock and roll car chase film."
Hopefully, production kicks into gear quickly - I don't know about you guys, but I'm in need of an Edgar Wright Film Fix, and a rock and roll car flick from that mastermind sounds pretty damn awesome.
