Is Spidey finally swinging into the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Latino-Review has a bunch of stuff hitting today, the biggest of which is this fat juicy rumor wherein Da7e claims to have an inside track on the possible deal between Sony and Marvel Studios to share Spider-Man.

In the story, Da7e does spoil what he believes to be the endings to multiple upcoming Marvel films. If you don't care about reading speculation which could very well be true that could ruin the finales of some of the big geek flicks coming out in the coming years, then by all means click over.

It's interesting stuff, but if you just want to know the skinny on Spidey then I'll tell ya' without the spoilery context Da7e goes into.

His sources tells him that a deal is either already in place or damn close and that we will see a new, non-Andrew Garfield Spider-Man show up in the MCU, but not in Civil War, which was previously rumored. Da7e says expect to see everybody's favorite friendly neighborhood Spider-Man pop his webbed head into Avengers: Infinity War Pt. 1.

As with any rumor (especially superhero related) take this with a huge grain of salt. Even rumors that are 100% true at the time they are reported can shift on a dime and with the scoop world the way it is now much of what is reported is done so at such a liquid stage that things can literally change within hours of a rumor being posted.

Still, the speculation of movie rumors is part of the fun of being a geek so I figured I'd pass along the newest and biggest of the day. If it turns out true, then I'm psyched to see Spidey in the MCU, although I must admit I loved Garfield in the role and wish he'd had better movies to lead.

Thoughts?
