Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Never ones to rest when it comes to the superhero news beat, the folks at Latino-Review have come out and definitively declared that Josh Trank's Fantastic Four trailer will be dropping with Kingsman the weekend of February 13th (which also happens to be my birthday weekend, so thanks Fox!).
Trank's take on the material is slated for an August 7th release and we haven't seen one official still, production update while shooting or teaser trailer. It's kinda ridiculous to fault the studio for being so secretive, but it does sit weird with me in this day and age that Fox is holding all teases for this film until the six month mark.
I've heard so many horror stories about this production that I can't help but assume the worst and that Fox is trying to hide it rather than flaunt it for a year like most super hero properties. There's also the chance that the movie turned out well (hell, at this point all it has to do is be better than Tim Story's shitfests) and Fox is wanting to take its time and deliver a first look filled with finished effects that'll knock everybody's socks off.
Whether Da7e at LR is right or not about the trailer being released with Kingsman you can bet we'll be seeing something soon for this movie.
