Yahoo will make the first two episodes of “Community’s” 13-episode sixth season available March 17.
The streaming service will release two more new episodes every subsequent Tuesday until it runs out.
(Coincidentally, “Community’s” old stablemate at NBC, “Parks and Recreation,” will also be running two new episodes every Tuesday, starting tonight.)
Jonathan Banks is busy playing ex-cop Mike Ehrmantraut on “Better Call Saul” over on AMC, but fellow AMC vet Alison Brie, Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Jim Rash and Ken Jeong are all back for the new season. Newcomers to the franchise this year are Paget Brewster and Keith David.
Creator/showrunner Dan Harmon told the press at Yahoo’s TCA event today that he does not necessarily see this sixth season as the series’ last, whether Yahoo elects to bring it back or not.
