James Wan may have stepped away from the INSIDIOUS franchise, but the films are far from over. Co-writer Leigh Whannell will be stepping into the director's chair for the upcoming INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 3. The film will follow one of the early cases of medium Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) and her ghost-hunting team.
Focus Features has released a new still from the film, depicting Elise as she is about to come face to face with one of the inhabitants of The Further.
Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl (Stefanie Scott) who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.
INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 3 opens on June 5th.
