Here's a look at BIG GAME, which seems to be a hybridization of AIR FORCE ONE and ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK, with maybe a little DELIVERANCE and CLIFFHANGER mixed in, and a sprinkling of Richard Connell’s MOST DANGEROUS GAME peppered on top?
The trailer does a very nice job of setting up the picture’s plotline. BIG GAME, which stars Samuel L. Jackson and Jim Broadbent, is scripted and directed by Jalmari Helander (who brought us RARE EXPORTS back in 2010). It begins its release pattern this March in Finland - no word on how or when it’ll debut in the US.
