In her new position of power, she challenges gender and class barriers while also becoming professionally and romantically entangled with the court’s renowned landscape artist André Le Notre (Matthias Schoenaerts).

Quite frankly, this isn’t the kind of film which would normally interest me. But 1) this sounds interesting, and 2) it represents the second directorial effort of the insanely awesome Alan Rickman (who was also a writer on the film with Alison Deegan and Jeremy Brock). Rickman appears in it as well, as does Stanley Tucci.
A LITTLE CHAOS will hit US theaters on March 27.
