MYTH OF THE AMERICAN SLEEPOVER director David Robert Mitchell's sophomore picture has gotten a particularly cool, moody teaser trailer (first available on Empire. In it, we see THE GUEST's Maika Monroe get taken…somewhere, and is forced to look at…something.
Our very own Quint really dug the movie (Anton Sirius, not so much), and I have to say that this teaser has got me curious enough about the film that I don't want to hear another word about it. I'm willing to wait to see what Monroe is looking at until this is in theaters, which means its a very successful piece of advertising as far as I'm concerned.
What you think? Just another wannabe-Carpenter horror flick, or something genuinely intriguing?
IT FOLLOWS doesn't currently have a U.S. release date, but it's set to open in the U.K. on February 27th, 2015.
